How a match is made
The process behind every specimen ticket, from file to recommendation.
Upload & identify
Attach the specimen file and name the organism as it appears on the culture or lab slip. KIMAMR records the file name and size alongside the identification.
Match to reference data
The organism is checked against a curated library of species, common aliases, and their established antibiotic susceptibility patterns.
Return a ticket
A specimen ticket is generated listing first-line and alternative agents, plus any resistance concerns specific to that organism.
Reference library
The organisms currently covered, with the agents generally regarded as first-line and alternative options.

What this tool is — and isn't
KIMAMR is an educational reference built on general, textbook-level antimicrobial guidance. It does not perform laboratory diagnosis, does not know your patient's history, and is not a substitute for culture-confirmed susceptibility testing or your institution's antimicrobial stewardship protocols. Always verify agent choice and dosing against current local guidelines before treating a patient.
